near leopard, 15.2 hands, HYPP N/N. Great horses come from
great breeders and Classy is living proof. This young mare
came to us direct from the program of Hall of Fame breeder,
James H. Wild of the Flying W Ranch, Sarcoxie, Mo. and is
destined to be a top producer for your farm just as she has
been for ours. Though this balanced, elegant and muscle bound
mare has been shown only lightly in halter, she has been very
successful. Her yearling year, she was a High Point Regional
Year-End winner, Reserve Halter Champion, earner of 10.5
National Halter Points (ROM in Open Halter), winner of the
Missouri State Fair, Show Me ApHC Spectacular and the Heart of
America Classic. She then continued her show career with our
daughter Jillian, and added more national points in Open
Halter, Non-Pro Halter and Youth Mares. While we retired her
from the show ring to the breeding shed, one look at her and
it will be obvious she could easily go back in the ring and
earn national points with you on the lead. Her pedigree
explains why her show career has been so successful. Her sire
is Distinctive- Reserve World Champion at Halter, National
Champion Aged Stallion, World Show Yearling Stallions 3rd,
World Show Most Colorful 4th, ROM Halter, earner of 50 Open
Halter points and 8 Most Colorful points. He is a multiple
World and National Champion sire and is the sire of two Bronze
Medallion winners. Distinctive is sired by ApHC World Halter
Champion Stardee (by AQHA World Halter Champion Tardee
Impressive) and is out of World and National Halter Champion
producer Sarafair (Goer x Fair Charles Daughter). Distinctive
is a full brother to Authenticity (World Champion Most
Colorful). Classy's dam, Approvals Bambino, was unshown due to
injury and died giving birth to her. She was sired by Go
Approval, World Champion Aged Stallion and Bronze Medallion
Winner and her dam was an own daughter of the AQHA immortal,
Pretty Impressive. Since it takes great horses to make great
horses, Classy has continued her family's long line of
successful production by giving us an outstanding chestnut
snow cap colt in 2006. Though his show career has just
started, he qualified for the 2007 World Show and earned
national points in several divisions. He will continue to show
in 2008. In 2007 Classy produced a striking snow cap palomino
filly who will start her show career in 2008. On 3/17/2008
Classy again foaled a HUGE chestnut filly with snowflakes on
her hips by Maids Midnite Delite. This tall and extremely well
built filly is destined for her own success in the show ring.
Classy easily bred back to Maids Midnite Delite on her foal
heat for a March 2009 full sibling. Standing over 16.1 hands,
Maids Midnite Delite is by ApHC Leading Sire, Maid's Dream and
String of Slippers (Imaginate x Cherry Slippers). He holds 3
Register of Merit Awards, was a Year-End Top Ten Finalist for
Open Two Year Old Stallions for 2006 and Open Three Year Old
Stallions for 2007. Also note that Classy's good looks and
outstanding conformation have earned her national attention.
Her picture has been featured in the newly published Appaloosa
coffee table book, The Legendary Appaloosa, and she has was
also featured on the cover of the KV Vet Supply catalog.
